Anything else can be done if you go back but not that Abandoned Site. You have to do it BEFORE you leave White Orchard. They disappear and do not show up if you leave White Orchard, as in you did the main quests and move on to Vizima to meet with Emhyr and Yen. When you're in White Orchard at the beginning of the game, head over to that area and clear it. Here's how to do it on your next new playthrough. I'd be curious to know if someone else has this problem, it looks like a bug to me. I tried meditating, save and quit, reload, visit at night but nothing happens. I suspect there's supposed to be some thugs or ghouls to kill to deliver this place (like the other abandoned sites), but there's absolutely nothing there for me.
